Carmine red color with violet edges. The nose shows intense aromas of black and red fruits, along with toasted notes and bitter chocolate. The wine has an elegant entry, pleasant tannins that completely envelop the palate. Excellent combination and balance between these two strains, which give a very balanced wine.
Chateau Pontet Plaisance Saint-Emilion is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc aged in oak for 12 months. The mouth bursts with black fruit flavors, while sweet spices and toasted oak notes mingle in the background. Would go excellent with a gourmet burger.
