VAT 69 was created by William Sanderson in 1882. It was personally chosen by Sir Ernest Shackleton for his Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition in 1914. Seamlessly created by blending 40 different malt and grain whiskies, the VAT 69 is highly smooth and perfectly well-balanced. This blended Scotch whisky has mellow notes of spice, caramel, and barley malt with a touch of pear juice. On the palate, the whisky is slightly biscuit with a hint of pepper flavour. It has long and woody finish.
Parkers Finest whiskey is characterized by a rich amber color, a rich aroma with subtle smoky motifs and honey tones, as well as a spicy and viscous taste, in which subtle echoes of wax are heard.
