This white Bordeaux is a blend of Semillon which gives roundness and power, Sauvignon Blanc which brings freshness, fruit and a floral touch, and Muscadelle for richness of flavor. The nose initially reveals aromas of yellow fruit (peach and mirabelle) and white blossom such as jasmine. With airing, some light citrus notes give the wine an elegantly acidulated cast. The attack is dominated by the roundness and succulence of yellow fruit, while freshness emerges on a mid-palate marked by grapefruit and candied citrus flavours. The finish recalls the freshness of the nose.
