Very intense purple, violet edge. On the nose, Black fruits and earthy touch, spices, floral (violets). Has a very soft attack, followed by an extremely intense mid-palate full of fine, crispy fruit, velvety tannins and hints of reglisse. The aftertaste also remains very intense, fruity and juicy. The old vines here make for an intense and powerful wine and this year it is superbly intense!
