Colour is deep ruby and has a complex bouquet with aromas of black cherry and blueberry with scents of tobacco, white pepper and cedar. On the palate it has rich flavours of mulberry, blackberry and prune, complimented by vanilla and subtle spices offered by oak. Well-structured with dry , rich tannins. The wine is ready to drink now but will mature for a further five to ten years.
