Roots in evolution: Looking at the past with respect in order to build the future
The long history of Medici Ermete begins in 1890 with Remigio Medici, owner of three successful taverns in Reggio Emilia, in the north of Italy. Now, in its fifth generation, the company owns around 80 hectares (over 200 acres) of organic vineyards distributed among the areas of the region with the highest concentration of viticulture, and exports to 70 countries worldwide. From 2021 Medici Ermete is a sustainable winery certified by Equalitas and started its own project called Generation 2031 to support all the sides of the winery to become more and more sustainable.
