The chardonnay, a noble French grape with which the great white wines of Burgundy are produced, and which contributes produce most prestigious Cuvée of famous Champagne, is also grown in Piedmont. The territorial proximity with the area of origin, has meant that the Chardonnay vine arrived in Piedmont during the first half of the nineteenth century. The favorable climate, fresh and ventilated, the beautiful exposures hills and the well-known lands, have contributed to its success. It is a vine of great elegance, which gives white wines with fascinating aromas, endowed with personality and character. Good aging makes it one of the most long-lived whites, capable of evolving. TASTING NOTES: Brilliant straw yellow color, the characteristic scent with marked fruity and floral notes. The dry, intense and full flavor an interweaving of savory flavors, citrus, then peach and tropical fruits.
