Wines must be elegant

For eight generations, the Bonfante family has been crafting wines in Nizza Monferrato, Piedmont, a region renowned for its Barbera d'Asti excellence and designated "Nizza DOCG" in 2014. In 2000, following their father Domenico's passing and the division of his established winery, siblings Micaela and Marco Bonfante founded the Marco Bonfante winery. With Marco's oenological expertise, assisted by consultant Gianluca Scaglione and agronomist Daniele Eberle, the family-run enterprise produces wines of exceptional quality, adhering to environmentally conscious practices. The meticulous selection of grapes, both from managed vineyards and chosen sources, combined with low-yield per vine and attentive harvesting, underscore their commitment to producing high-caliber wines. This dedication to excellence has earned them recognition at home and abroad, while about half of their production is vinified on-site in Nizza Monferrato, adhering to the geographical regulations of the denomination.
